Full Schedule

Presented by the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

Uncover Intrepid's role in the early space program and explore the night sky in an online planetarium. Hear stories of constellations from around the world and then create your own! For the activity, participants will need a piece of paper and something to draw with like a pencil, pen, crayon or marker. We will draw our own constellations and create stories about them.

Available in English with Spanish interpretation.

Presented by Certified Dance Fitness Instructor, Rosalyn Valdez

Join us for a bilingual dance class inspired by the movements of Latin dances, including salsa, cha-cha, and merengue. With exercises for the whole body, this class encourages functional fitness through dance movements. This class is appropriate for all ages and all levels.

KEEN on Yoga is a program that empowers youth with disabilities through yoga exercises, breathing techniques, games, partner/group poses, stories and music. Yoga is a practice that helps to calm and center the mind, while stretching and strengthening the body. Throughout the sessions, everyone will be free to move and groove, express themselves, and improve their self-esteem.

Available in English with Spanish interpretation.

Presented by Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and Extreme Kids and Crew

Join Brooklyn Conservatory of Music's Jasper Lewis for a fun and engaging music group focusing on participation, physical and musical expression. Part of the unifying and liberating component of the connected programming at Extreme Kids and Crew, music connects participants to themselves, the musicians, and the others in the room. Music as Therapy has helped motivate, soothe, and engage our children.

For ages 8-16, but all are welcome.
Available in English.

Presented by Teatro SEA

Storytelling with puppets
Pura Belpré (1901-1982) was a talented author, collector of folktales, puppeteer, and storyteller who wrote and reinterpreted Puerto Rican folk tales. Our show is a re-enactment of her legendary “Bilingual Story Hour.” Her famous tales Pérez & Martina, Juan Bobo, and The Three Kings come to life in a creative and interactive experience that combines storytelling with puppets!

Ages 3-9, but all are welcome.
Available in English & Spanish.
